The Domino is a high-performance phono preamplifier with selectable gain settings and input loading, compatible with any MM or MC cartridge. Crafted with premium components and a laser-engraved walnut and aluminium enclosure, it offers exceptional sound and build quality.
Any Cartridge, Any Amp: The Domino offers four switchable gain settings (40, 49, 58, and 67 dB), guaranteeing the perfect amount of gain with any cartridge and amp combination.
Passive RIAA Equalisation: With 0.1% tolerance thin-film resistors and 1% polypropylene capacitors, the passive EQ filter achieves an impressive 0.2 dB RIAA accuracy.
True Linear Power Supply: An external 15V AC transformer delivers hi-fi grade power while keeping electrical noise away from the sensitive gain stages. No noisy switch-mode DC supplies are used.
Handcrafted in England: Our products are designed, manufactured, and rigorously tested in our workshop to deliver authentic British Hi-Fi.

Wall of Sound: "The Domino exceeded my expectations, and then some... It's a quiet, balanced and superbly competent performer – and just downright enjoyable to use. For the price, it’s an amazing accomplishment." - wallofsound.ca
TNT Audio: "The Tisbury Audio Domino is a rare thing, sounding like it was built up to a quality target, not down to a target price. It will outlast turntable, arm and cartridge upgrades." - tnt-audio.com
The Ear: "The Domino we have a product which does so very much, and which will more than hold its own in any well-set-up system, regardless of how far up the price-ladder you push it." - the-ear.net
Frequently asked questions
What is a phono stage?
The output signal from a your turntable's cartridge is too tiny for most equipment to use. A phono stage amplifies this tiny voltage and applies the RIAA equalisation curve to produce a loud and balanced signal.
Why would I need one?
Many turntables and amplifiers come with build in phono stages, however these are usually of poor quality to reduce costs. A stand alone phono stage will have better sound quality, lower noise levels and allows you to use a wider variety of cartridge types.
Can I upgrade the power supply?
We do not recommend using any third-party power supplies, as the included power supply is specifically designed to be the perfect match for the Domino. If you really, really want to upgrade it, we recommend you do not exceed 16 V AC / 1 Amp output, as larger transformers can produce transient voltages that may damage the Domino and void your warranty. Never connect the Domino to a DC power supply; the plug may fit, but it may damage the Domino.
